Unfortunately the food didn't live up to the reviews here. The sauces were way too strong, one of the dishes was bitter instead of sweet, and the rabbit was completely bland to the taste. For € 250 + for 4 people, the food was unfortunately only disappointing and the whole thing for a birthday meal. Before I forget ... waiting time for food almost 1 hour .. another no go! What was good that evening? Location & Service -> therefore also 1 star ⭐️! If I come back: No! But Mannheim has a lot of other good restaurants.

Very pleasant courtyard, the service is very friendly and responds to guests' requests. However, the food is nothing special ... it tasted good but we hoped for more.

Must visit if you're coming to Mannheim, portions are really nicely sized as well as being unbelievably tasty. The menu seems to cycle, how often i'm not sure, but I will find out as I'm sure to visit again!

Noted at the top of my fillet of beef :) The table arrangement was a bit tight, but always a nice stay. We recommend!

We went to the Christmas menu at the C-Five. The ambience was nice, the service well organized and the food was good for everyone. Value for money was right for the food, all in all a very nice evening.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary here. Location: Very nice ambience in a very private atmosphere. Timelessly modern. Eat: There are relatively few dishes to choose from (3x starter, 2x vegetarian dishes, 4x main course and 2x dessert) but in terms of quality and taste excellent. Service: Very friendly and accommodating. Always keep an eye on the table as to whether you need to add more. Not pushy but attentive. Conclusion: It is definitely worth it to celebrate anniversaries or special occasions. I would love to come back! At one point I was struggling with myself whether this should give a star deduction or not. The situation of the men's toilets was: a sink broken by two, two urinals broken by five, and a toilet broken by three. Since the rest impressed me so much, I would still like to give it 5 stars!

Extremely nice ambience. For that the 2 stars. The price for the quality of the food is in no way justified. The dishes were neither explained nor presented, nor would an amuse-gueule be served. A typical case of a restaurant that tries to move from the good solid area to the first class but fails miserably. We will not be going back.

The decos on the squares and in the whole restaurant is meaningful and beautiful. The toilets are always clean and all in all, the restaurant gives a good impression. All dishes were graciously prepared and kept warm. I have not been so fascinated by an inn for a long time. Promter and polite service. I think all the staff did a good job there.

I was disappointed with the food. I expected more for the prices. My monkfish with puree had no taste. It was nice to have dinner in the courtyard, but we were in the dark and could not see anything on the plate at the end. Look and marketing good, but I lack content. In my opinion, overpriced, for the quality they offer.

Great ambience and nice location. Very upscale. The food is good too. Unfortunately, there are only dry wines. Since I personally would have preferred at least a semi-dry wine. Very nice staff! Gladly again

Very nice atmosphere - both outside and inside. But personally it was too dark and too warm. Both the beef fillet strips with soy mayonnaise (appetizer) and the filet sturgeon were high quality and cooked to perfection. The dessert was rather average. A little disappointing were the wines. The first bottle Riesling (Kraichgau) had a mistake. The replacement bottle was perfect but could not really convince. The red wine was OK.

Nice location, good for groups or for a couple. Food tasted ok and class but for thw price? Drinks were good quality

The ambience is excellent. Especially on warm summer evenings you can sit outside there: a green oasis in the middle of the city. The food is very good, but also a bit overpriced and the portions are quite well arranged. In Alchimia (not far from there) you pay e.g. clearly less for at least the same quality. But you can't sit outside there. In short: The CFive pays well for its special ambience. There is a star deduction for this.

Lovely outside area but for those prices the food, the service, the cutlery, the music need to be a good deal better.

We booked for me, my wife and our kid. We booked on a Saturday for the same evening. The waiter told us there was only one table available outside, but the weather did not look good. We booked it anyway. When we arrived it was raining and we decided to stay anyway. After two minutes though they managed to squeeze us inside, without us asking. It was my birthday and my daughter asked for a candle.They brought a candle with a dessert they offered. On top of this very good service the food was good. The risotto in particular was extremely well cooked, something I have never seen in Germany before although I leave here since 12 years
